Sourcing Mentoring Scheme
The GSA are seeking men and women in senior positions to participate in a yearlong mentoring program to help progress the careers of women in the sourcing industry. The aim of the scheme is to develop more women into senior leadership positions.
The GSA Global Standards Director, Chris Halward will deliver a half-day session to fully brief mentors on the mentoring programme approach and skills required to make the mentoring a success. Once the training has been completed mentors will be partnered with mentees depending on their industry experience.
After 6 months and again after the full year we will ask the mentors and the mentees to complete a feedback survey on their experience of the programme.
The GSA Social Inclusion Charter
We have kicked off our Women in Sourcing campaign in the UK and globallybut our Social Inclusion Charter goes much broader than looking at gender equality. It covers many aspects of social inclusion and corporate social responsibility includes Impact Sourcing, an Industry Code of Conduct and running Hackathons to find solutions for significant global social challenges.
The Social Inclusion Charter promotes an ethical and socially aware global sourcing industry that is willing to contribute to wider social goals and outcomes.
