NTT DATA has been working with the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), the Ministry of Justice, Police ICT, and Microsoft to develop the Intelligent Safeguarding platform. The company is a Strategic Innovation Partner of Police ICT, enabling it to collaborate on non-commercial projects to develop and promote innovation.

The platform was developed in response to a problem that was hampering efforts to protect victims of Forced Marriage (FM) and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
