The displaced school children of Ukraine need your help! New and used laptops and tablets are urgently required for students in Ukraine who have had to leave their homes as the war continues.
As they start the new academic year, only a small percentage of schools in Ukraine have bomb shelters to protect the children, therefore the schools without bomb shelters need to provide distance learning for their students. This is proving a huge challenge as there is no available equipment for this distance learning to take place, as many children fled their homes with minimal possessions.
According to the estimates of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the current need is about 130,000 computers. It doesn’t matter whether the laptops and tablets are used, they just need to fit the minimal requirements listed here. We need your help in getting these children back to education as soon as possible.
The GSA is working closely with IT Ukraine Association to promote this campaign and we whole-heartedly hope our members and our community here in the UK and globally can help us quickly reach these targets. We will constantly update on developments and give full thanks to all those organisations who kindly donate anything to this campaign. Thank you in advance for your support.
