In 2023 the GSA successfully launched the first in its suite of industry standard terms: the NDA and its framework agreement for professional (and IT) services.

We are calling on all passionate members of the technology and business services community to join or re-join our contracting workstream – buyers, service providers, advisors, GCs, law firms, contract managers, diverse suppliers and the NGOs - everyone has a role to play and a voice to share. We plan to share an update of the program to date and discuss the route forward: which contracts should we explore next for the suite? What else do we need to do to drive industry adoption? Any other subjects we should focus on within this contracting workstream?

If you’ve got global teams, then you’ve got a cultural alignment problem. We can fix this. How? The CAT programme.

    The Introduction to CAT workshop:

    • Provides an overview of the market-first CAT programme.
    • Shows attendees how cultural differences impact global team performance.
    • Uses real-life examples to show how friction and failure linked to culture impacts delivery.
    • Places at our ½-day workshop at London’s iconic Gherkin are limited.
    • Free
    • Coffee and croissants from 9.30am to 10am.
    • Light lunch included.
    • Please bring PHOTO ID

    View the agenda here.

    What is it?
    • CAT is a performance improvement programme for global teams that identifies, then removes, cultural barriers to success.

    What it's not.

    • CAT is not cultural training. CAT delivers measurable value for global teams by getting them culturally aligned.

    Who it's for?

    • All global teams (in the same organisation or client/suppliers), especially Agile IT delivery teams operating across the US/UK/EU and India.

    Why you need it?

    • CAT gets your global teams working to one global high-performance culture with dramatic before/after results demonstrated through agreed OKRs and KPIs.

Roundtable discussion: Bridging the gap of how to implement AI solutions in a legitimate, explainable and ethical way. We will be discussing:

    • How ready are organisations vs. public sector departments to use AI responsibly, ethically and sustainably?
    • How fit for purpose are the current frameworks for accountability for the use of AI?
    • How do we ensure accountability and responsibility between buyer and service provider in the delivery of AI-enabled programs?
    • Where are the key challenges, based on where we are now, in implementing AI and specifically describing the ‘how’, to include contractual challenges too.
    • What lessons have been learned from any difficulties (or successes) in implementing AI?
    • Looking forward over the next two years, what headlines will AI generate?

Invitation to join the full launch of the GSA’s Service Provider Sustainability Index (SPSI), which is fully supported by the GSA’s ESG Digital Companion.

Essential to attend for service providers interested in understanding how best to report to their buyers on their ESG performance and equally so for buyers desperate to understand the ESG performance of their service providers, and what this is doing to the own ESG footprint. The GSA’s SPSI offers an industry first global industry standard approach to ESG reporting that will enable the technology and business services industry – and all the players within it – to understand how well it is (they are) performing across the ESG landscape and where they excel and where they need to improve, with a specially formulated and weighted questionnaire designed for our industry. ESG is a minefield and GSA is delighted to launch a digital companion that will guide users every step of the way as they embark on their ESG performance journeys.

Agile sourcing is being cited as the holy grail for many private sector procurements today. Its highly collaborative and iterative process frequently results in more successful and longer-lasting partnerships. It is however not right for all businesses or all programs. The GSA will share the outputs of its working group to date: what characteristics and behaviours are essential for agile sourcing to work; the principles of agile sourcing, as well as some examples of case studies demonstrating best practice.
