The UK has over 120 inbound deals since the referendum on the UK’s place in Europe, worth nearly £50 billion. It is believed that the low value of the pound, which bounced around 5 week lows against competitors, has encouraged foreign buyers to purchase UK business. It is quite a turnaround for the M&A market in the UK, which prior to the referendum was struggling.
