During the GSA Strategic Sourcing Symposium, the analysts quoted that this year the business services industry has grown by 8–9%, and IT outsourcing has grown by almost 20%. Opportunities for the Global Technology and Business Services industry are huge, but with them come challenges. The biggest of which being access to available talent. There is a very real risk that the industry could be accused of over promising and underdelivering in the near future.
The GSA has developed its manifesto for 2022 which sets out the best practice and guidelines it aims to develop and deliver over the next 12 months, which will guide both the sourcing buyer and the service provider through best practice and dynamic change that will ensure the industry continues to positively thrive.
